The GoPro Hero 10 has been leaked by WinFuture (a tech news site), revealing various improvements on the Hero 9 Black which was released almost one year ago. The leaked images suggest that the upcoming Hero 10 action cam will boast upgraded image quality and frame rate, by use of a GP2 processor capable of 5.3k video at up to 60 frames per second, and 4k video at a maximum of 120FPS.
The Hero 9 Black was only capable of 5k at 30 frames per second, meaning you had to choose between higher image quality and a lower frame rate, or a higher frame rate at the cost of lower image quality.
The leak also reveals that the GoPro Hero 10 Black may offer better video stabilization with the use of HyperSmooth 4.0 in addition to a 23-megapixel sensor – a nice jump in comparison to the use of HyperSmooth 3.0 and a 20MP sensor in the Hero 9. Capabilities such as ten-meter water resistance, and 8x slow motion that were seen on the Hero 9 are retained on the Hero 10 Black.
The leak doesn’t give any information on a release date, but judging by previous Hero camera releases (around September to October), we can expect to see GoPro release the Hero 10 Black sometime soon. There is no information on the price of the Hero 10 Black just yet, but we should see the price of the Hero 9 Black drop when it is released.!(upload://rFMPZv3ZqB4RGPFHtsNogmdiNqM.png)!(upload://bhAXtliGXWlKVRpamiPRn2rUVRY.png)
